Beefy Boys

Occasionally Avian and I go looking to buy something that we only have to purchase once and have it last basically forever. Something durable, structurally sound, will withstand the test of time. In other words, a beefy boy.

We’ve bought and used all these ourselves and can vouch for their beefiness:

Gorilla felt pads

Twice to three times as thick as any other felt pad we’ve found, and ten times stickier. You better want them wherever you put them because these fuckers are NOT coming off. We’ve made this mistake once already, heed the warning.

Kryptonite Evolution Series 4 1090

Aka the LockPickingLawyer bike lock. We use this on our ebike. Fantastic lock, relatively easy to get on and off, very happy with this one.

Deneed Pottery’s mugs

I picked up one from the Satanic Temple as a present for Avian, it’s about three years old and still in perfect condition. I have no idea how they made these so durable, it’s been through the dishwasher a million times and it looks brand new.
